Staff training

Staff training for teachers, youth workers, and anyone working with young people

The training will cover the following key topics:

Understand the Landscape

  • Recognise current challenges and pressures facing boys in education, mental health, relationships, and wellbeing.

  • Understand that boys are navigating an invisible “rulebook” that shapes how they behave, relate, and show up.

  • Understand how social media and online influencers shape boys’ identities and beliefs about masculinity.

Adopt a Strengths-Based Approach

  • Recognise and affirm boys’ positive behaviours (kindness, respect, authenticity, leadership).

  • Shift from a deficit lens (“toxic masculinity”) to a growth-focused approach that highlights potential and possibilities.

Apply Learning in Practice

  • Explore practical ways to translate awareness into small, everyday actions in school.

  • Identify actions staff can take immediately to promote healthy masculinity in their interactions with students.

Promoting gender inclusivity and addressing masculinity is key to building a healthy and productive workplace...

Yet many businesses overlook the impact of unhealthy masculinity and its influence on workplace dynamics.

Our Healthy Masculinity in the Workplace training gives businesses the tools to promote healthy masculinity within the workforce, as well as developing leadership styles that balance strength with empathy and support, aiming towards more effective management styles and more inclusive environments.

This training creates an environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.

Why this matters

By addressing masculinity and gender issues, your organisation demonstrates a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being

This proactive approach helps prevent incidents of misconduct, improves retention, and enhances your employer brand, attracting diverse, innovative talent and boosting overall competitiveness.
